| Let me also say for the record that anytime you hear of a quad going anywhere near 90 to 100 MPH, quickly call out B.S. NO quads do that without significant work. The only way to get quads at that speed is through gearing. It takes VERY tall gearing to do this. without motor work to go with that gearing you would have to get pull started to get the quad off the line. Please use some common sense when it comes to this. A quad can only go faster if A. the RPMs are higher, hence motor work or B. the gearing is taller, allowing the same amount of RPMs to spin the wheels faster, which of course depletes the low end power. Or a combination of both of these. What do you think it takes to get a stock machine which will do between 70 and 75 or maybe a little higher to 105???? get serious

| I actually have many of the bikes talked about here. I have had many quads, and my personal favorite was the vforce. I like it because it is very fast, is very smooth, and is just too much fun to horse around on. It is not the fastest around in stock form, but there is nothing made that will just run away from it.
My piped and jetted 400ex is considerable slower everywhere. My freinds raptor 660 is no faster down low or up top. The 700 raptor is arguable slower down low, but will eventually get you on top. The honda 450, and suzuki 450 I raced was marginally faster. None of these bikes could brag really, though. The KFX isn't in their category, and the fact it does as well as it does is amazing. Most of these quads weigh a hundred or more pounds lighter - coupled with the fact I weigh in about 230.
Take this into consideration, though. My daughter weighs about 90 pounds and is fearless. She has never lost a race to anyone, and she raced all the bikes talked about here on the same day. (drag race on a dried lake bed, a popular place to ride here locally).
My bike does have a pipe, jet kit, and K&N.
Any bigger rider will love this bike, it just feels good. Even my kids can putt around on it, or I can go out and thrash it. Find one bike that can beat that.

| kfx 700 in stock form is a turd.About the only thing you can beat in a drag race is a 400 ex....etc.You put exhaust, mod airbox,k+n,pink primary spring, jet way up and you can take stock 450s.Stage 2 or 3 cams,11.5/1 pistons and you wake the beast up: scary fast. |
