| I'm 5'9 and 170lbs and (with the exception of recessed highway pegs) my lowrider fits me like a glove... i payed 18ish for mine so 17,495 sounds pretty good... by the way the black and silver is by far the best and cleans up awesome

| I just picked up my FXDL for about 16995, Vivid Black. The problem with pricing is that alot of dealers don't sell at MSRP, because they know they can get more for them! As far as your height, did you sit down on one when you were at the dealership? It's not as good as a test ride, but if you don't feel comfortable just sitting on it (have somebody hold it up for you so you can put both legs up) then maybe it isn't right for you. I originally wanted a Fat Boy (love the look still), but I didn't feel comfortable just sitting on it.

| I'm also 6'2 and around the same weight. For myself I bought the Dyna Superglide mainly because of price. I liked the Low Rider but it seems that the Dealers in your area are trying to take advantage of Harley's popularity. The MSRP for a basic colored 2004 FXDL is $14,995, the high end is MSRP $15,580 for Two-tone colored models. Most Dealers will mark the price up a little but not up to $17495. Just remember what they are asking $17495 is before adding shipping, setup, taxes and title. So, basically they want you to pay roughly $20,000 for the FXDL. They are not doing you any favors, I would try looking at as many dealers as possible before getting ripped off by those sharks.
