| I am 5'9" and the bike is a little tall. If I adjust the suspension to make it shorter, is there a significant difference in the ride? Or is it ok to go on the dirt still? Is the 250 fast enough for the street? How fast will it go on street?

| search this site on older postings. I saw answers to your question from 'extremly impressed' dated 07/08/02 under the year 2001 section. Referring to the 2002 DRZ

| The Gel Seat from Suzuki for this bike will lower the seat by an inch without lowering suspension, this is what I'd recommend. Its about 100 bucks in my area.
Personally, the 250 is fantastic for tooling around the campground, however it is not really a street bike.
a) its not fast enough to get out of the way of cars.
b) its a bit to light, oncoming trucks will toss you.
