| My Dad has a Rancher and it goes about 45 MPH on pavement. The Recon would probably go about 35-40 MPH.

| I have a neighbor who has a Rancher and the ATV says it will 75 miles per hour.

| | I've had a 2001 Rancher ES since 12/2000. Over the years I tested the top end on hardpack or gravel roads, never pavement, and the top speed was always the same 45mh. My friends Rancher ES was always a little slower. I'm sure you will find a variance with each machine. |

| i dont know about the recon, but my rancher went 53 or 54 mph. my friend clocked me on his crotchrocket sidebyside thats with slime in the tires and with 25in 589 titans, a slipping clutch and needing a overhaul. but IT KEEPS ON RUNNING TIL THIS DAY.

| The rancher tops out at about 55 and the recon about 45 rounded up.
