I have head some serious horror stories about the 2000-2002 Buell Blast, including stalling out while turning, causing accidents, resulting in serious injury.

I have a 2001 Buell Blast. And it is a lemon. Started with oil leaks. Had to add a quart every 300 miles. My ignition module went. That cost $300. And now my engine died. 2 years old, 9,000 miles and the valve dropped causing the piston and cylinder to go. H-D wants to know nothing about it. The engine will cost me about the same price I paid for the bike. Don't buy a Buell Blast. They suck. And don't ask for help from the H-D Company. Listen, there are alot of websites out there from people who have had problems with their Blast. Just search for them.

Do not buy a BLAST or Be-Last as they have come to be known. All Buells have serious durabilty issues and the Blast is such a slow pig to boot. If you want an entry level bike get an EX Kawasaki in 250 or 500; if u want an entry level cruiser get any 500 -800 cc Jananese cruiser. If you want to get passed by a beer truck going uphill, get a Buell Blast.

I am beginning to think they are all lemons, once I sell this thing I will never buy another Buell product as long as I live, 1200 miles a piece of crap, I see why the previous owners sold it. $2000.00 and I might even deliver , any takers.

It is difficult to start and then once it starts it quits running. It seems to be even worse after riding for a while and then stopping for about 20 minutes. It stalls several times while stopped at a red light or even stop signs.
