Stock means right off the dealers floor and running. Some people have changed their tires...even this will change your top speed..it's not all based on engine mods. It's also the weight of the rider along with the terrain the atv in being beat up on. Don't forget about the rider himself (or herself). Just like any other motor sport they play a major role in the performance of a machine.
