I have a 2000 fxdx and would really like to drop the back end about an inch. I have tried some lowering kits and lower shocks, just not what I'm looking for. I have seen some bikes in shows and on the street that a bit of the springs had been sniped off. Has anyone seen this or heard about this?
Thx Dave from Boston

Dave, I have the same bike and am working on lowering mine. According to Progressive Suspension, there is no lowering kit for the front end. Only thing to do is get short fork tubes. The rear can be lowered with different shocks. The OEM shocks cannot be modified or snipped in order to lower the bike. Let me know what you plan to do with your bike. Jeff
