| | REALLY it depends on what you're going to do with it. As for all the comments on the question of which one is quicker off the line?...How fast is your reaction time and how good are the riders on the bikes with manual trannies? I don't have a V-Force, but I can immagine that they have enough power for the "perma-grin factor". If you can't stop smiling and laugh like a mo-fo, you have the right bike. I would take either for the kind of riding I do. |

| i own both. owned a 2001 raptor and now a 2003. I love riding the v force. it is really fun. heavier and works your body more, however i use it for a work out. then when i get on my raptor i really fly. i honestly don't know which i prefer most. love them both for different reasons have read that the elka shocks will really help the v force suspension though.

| I purchased an 04 model recently and seven buddies and I went up to Pismo, Ca to hit the dunes and there is 1/4 mile at a 45 degree angle track and we drag raced about ten various modified quads and a couple happened to be 04 raptors and 660 bombadears and I smoked them all with my stock.. I am looking into purchasing some good exhaust and intake/jets but don't know where to start because the kfx700 does not have much manufacturers making mods for them

| i have from experienced both raced and rode these quads and the 2 quads are dead on speed full out but in a drag the 700 will walk all over it with its out of the whole. the 700 can do alot of the same muddholes as the 4x4 and the raptor just poops out in the middle. the suspension on the 700 is more stiff racing when the raptors is a little more soft. to me the 700 is a better choice but localy the service you get from yamaha is far better.

| I think you should get the v force because the 660 is really slow. i can smoke them all day on ds. but if you would step up to the 700 i can still smoke them but not by alot. the kfx is the best bet
