| i have a raptor, almost stock, and it will destroy any MODIFIED 400ex in anything other than a dry flat lakebed drag race. Ever race one up comp hill at glammis? i have, the raptor is always the king. i have seen 400ex riders have to turn around on the way up, NO POWER!!! little sissy man 400ex, you are not strong like meeeee!

This is a choice you wanna make on your own but my opinion is definitly a 400EX. I own one and it is a great all-around bike. A raptor would NOT destroy it..sure it may be faster (in some situations) but 400ex is so much more reliable. Don't let the no reverse thing turn you away..I ride trails all the time and it is no problem! This bike is easy to lift and so easy to pull if you have to turn it around...400 ex: great on the trails and tracks, reliable, awesome speed and power!! |

| The 660 raptor is so much faster than the 400ex? The 400ex is'nt even all that fast i have both quads and the raptor beats it about 40 miles per hour faster than the 400ex. The raptor is very slow get the bombardeir 650 thats way better

| 400 EX definetly, a lot of options for upgrades and power ups

| | the 400ex by far, the raptor might be fast but the front end wont stay down long enough for you to top it out ne way not to mention it is the tallest quaud with the shortest rear axle. very tippy |

| I got a 2002 400ex a cuple mods to it but its a real pain without reverse.Unless you bought an 05 400ex that have reverse i would say git a raptor.
