The Raptor is faster and has reverse, the 400ex is cheaper and more reliable. Make your own decision. If you ride on lakes or in the desert this is no big deal. If you ride on trails, this is a pain-in-the-butt. But like they all said the 400ex has no reverse. If its not your money. A raptor 660 or even a Banshee would be a much better alternative. Honda makes lawn mowers....I could recommend one.
