| I just bought a 2003 Victory Vegas, the bike only has 1300K on it. It has not been ridden in about a year, no winterization or storage prep was ever done & the bike was ridden by the original owner off and on. I just bought the recomendedVictory oil change kit w/ 6 quarts of oil & thr rings & filter, I also purchased a new set of NGK plugs w/ came pre-gapped for this bike from the dealer. I ran the gas tank empty and filled it with super and a small cap of carb/ fuel injector cleaner, the dealer told me to snip 1/4 inch off of the plug cables before reattahching them. Is their anything else I should do or need to know before I start riding. The bike runs fine now, except it takes a long time to warm up & I hear a very slight clicking/ knocking nioise only when the bike is in neutral and on the kickstand. Someone said that Victory bike make some sounds that other bikes do not and that it is perfectly normal & that I should not let anyone other than a Victory dealer loook at it because of this. I'm going to change the oil/filter & plugs myself, looks pretty self explanitory after reading the manual. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it...... Thanks......... medic13@optonline.net
