| I rode a Duoglide in the 60s a Norton in the 70s and a Virago in the 80s. Got into boating in the ninties. Last year I picked up a '93DWG and got hooked all over again. I have pretty much decided that I want a Heritage Softail Classic
but can't find any good reviews. I'd like to know what things to look at closely on the various years and at what mileages can one expect to have to replace things. Dealers are happy to tell me about guys who have done a 100,000 miles and not put awrench to their bikes but won't tell you how long a starter should last or what the weak points of any given years are. Any help?
