the battery is fully charged, yet it just clicks when i try to start it. aaa came out to give it a charge just in case and it still wouldn't jump start. finally just flintstoned it and it started right up. does anyone know what kind of starter it has, how many kw, and/or any advice? thanks!

Mine is doing the same thing.. Did you figure out what it was? Mine will click and the battery is good, but won't start.

starter relay? check down the wires and see if it is there that the clicking is from. also just inspect down the wires from the battery to see if you find any obvious disconnects or problems.

Did you figure out what it was? Was it the starter relay? I have a 1998 Ultra Jackhammer and had a new ignition switch put in. The battery is fully charged but it just clicks when I try and start it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
