posted this under a couple other models....Having ridden cruisers I wonder how i will adjust to the European tucked in riding position. Probably all that's holding me back from a BMW purchase. Any experience or advice?

It really depends on which model you're looking at. They go from hugging the gas tank to laid back. You can demo at any dealer. Give the positions a chance.Take a long demo ride. The ideal riding position for comfort and control is pretty much like a bicycle more or less.

I have an Electra Glide Classic that I do not ride much at all now, 56 yrs old and more comfort on r12rt. you can add a driver back rest and foot pegs if you really want to.
