| | My 2006 VN2000 LT has 500 miles on it. When I come to a full stop the bike will not down shift into 1st gear. The dealer says I should down shift into 1st prior to stopping and the problem may correct itself as the tranny breaks in. Does this sound right? |

| | No, it will not get any better with time. Pull in the clutch and stomp it into gear and get used to doing it this way. Your dealer ain't going to fix it. The dealer who sold it to you has your money and is done with you, as is Kawasaki. I will never buy another Kawasaki as the result of my experience with them after buying one of these white elephants. |
