| on my 05 crf250 i blew my fork seals and my brother blew his too so has any one else had this problem.

| | yeah mate. happened on my run in and i was on flat ground. They are also prone to blowing from being pulled down to tight on the trailer and from using a presure washer. PRESURE WASHER is a big no no. Use tepol or CT18 and save all your bearings and seals. If it starts to seep get a feeler gauge a fine one and insert it on on a 45 angle to the fork leg and slide it all the way around bringing it down at the same time. This just unblocks and bits of crud in the seal and will give you a bit more life. I have found the geniune OEM seal is the best out of all. Tryed a few after markets with the same problem. Also make sure your fork leg has no chips or marks. |
