| my question is, on my motorcycle, a 1982 yamaha xj750rj, is the gas shut off valve, between the gas tank and the engine, the markins have worn off, and i cant tell which direction the valve needs to point for full flow of fuel, the off position, or the "your low on fuel, and u need to get to a gas station real soon" (I forgot what's that called)

| | stand facing the bike on the left side so that the front tire is to your left. visualise the petcock selector is a clock. 9 is reserve for getting to gas soon 6 is full on open 3 is primary or prime no need to worry about or use this and 12 is nothing adios |
