Why shouldn't I replace the bias ply Dunlops on my 2003 Sportster 1200S with radials? Aren't radials just better? Alternatively, the rear OEM 130/90B16 Dunlop K591 also comes in a 150/90B16. Will that fit clear on a stock 1200S?

The chassis design is very different for radial vs. bias equipped bikes.No,radials are not simply better.They would be illadvised on your XL. The 150 is used on chain drive XLs for road racing. May fit on the belt drive bike,not sure.See if your favorite shop will try this for you,but remember:bigger tires do not mean automatic handling improvement.The fat tire look is so popular these days...
