| I have a 2005 Hyosung GT650 R. I really wanted to exchange the stock muffler for and aftermarket pipe but I'm worried about doing damage to the engine. I was wondering what is the best pipe for this bike to get more power and sound without messing things up. Also what are some other parts I should look at for more power?

| Any exhaust that provides any increase in BHP meaning that the aftermarket pipe is less restricting. This less restriction causes a vacuum in the cylinder which the standard fuel jet cannot alter to, so for best results with an aftermarket pipe, ON ANY BIKE, you need to get your main jets at least sized up 1 or 2 notches

| Fitting an aftermarket can won't damage the engine one little bit. It will make it freer-revving and give it a bit more midrange and top end. Much more noise, though, so first check your local traffic laws if it will still be legal. Don't wanna spend $$$ on a can, and it gets you pulled and fined all the time. Like mentioned before, for best results, upjet the carbs.

| | I saw an R1 rider drive into a stone wall and kill himself. Hopefully natural selection will take care of Chris, too. Why is he even reading this thread? He's the fukwit, whatever that is. |
