| I see a review from someone who installed Genmar handlebar risers. How do you like them? I have an '06 VFR800 and have wrist discomfort. How much was involved in the installation? Cost? Happy and safe riding guys! Thanks!

| There is an absolutely massive VFR group at vfrdiscussion.com . On there you can find every conceivable installation and modification ever done to any generation of VFR. Many people have installed the Gen-Mar risers and love them.
I too have major wrist problems and was looking at putting the Gen-mar's onto my VFR. I lowered the front and rear suspension about 3/4 of an inch (no cost!) and slid the stock clip-ons up to the top of the forks. This change in geometry, along with learning to hold more weight on my legs, made it possible for me to comfortably take a 1000-mile road trip on the bike with no complaints at all. In two weeks I'm taking it on a 2000-mile trip! |

| | Check out Heli Bars site. They make a dedicated replacement for the VFR and no cable requirements are required. Expensive but the best modification !!! |
