I have been looking at this bike for about two weeks. I'm looking for transportion between work and home, and some traveling. I haven't owned a bike for about 20 years. I was amazed how comfortable bike was to set on. Would this be to much bike for the average person?

Bought a new VFR800 last month. I am 60 years old with quite a bit of riding experience. The bike is very smooth, predictable, and easy to handle. It will not take you very long to feel confident on the bike. If you want it to preform and keep it above 7K RPM it will put a big smile on your face. If you want it to be a little more docile keep it between 3-6K RPM and it is very happy and tame. Hope this helps.
