| They are not good for bright daylight conditions. I added two 6" LED light bars just below the lic. plate frame. I used pre-drilled (used 3 holes)metal strips painted black for a perfect fit.
Makes a world of difference.

| I went with a Kuryakin 4710 run/stop/turn module for the rear turn signals. I replaced the amber 1156 bulbs with red LED bulbs I got at Autozone. I had to file off one of the pins on the bulb to make it fit the socket. One pin is enough to hold the bulb in tight enough.
Having 3 tail lights and 3 brake lights make the bike much more visible than before. The Kury 4710 comes with a plug in load equalizer and a plug in flasher giving an option of having the rear lights flash 3-4 times before coming on steady.
Before anyone asks, either amber OR red is legal for rear turn signals. |
