| I purchased a 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan withh a 100 miles on it. at 900 mile the cam chain tensioner went out. I replaced the tensioner. Again at 1800 the tensioner went out again it lasted to 2900 miles. The dealership wanted to tell me the motor was bad I replace the tensioner the noise goes away does anyone know what is wrong or, lead me in the right direction?
Sincerely,
Love hate my vulcan

| Get rid of it!!
I was also unfortunate enough to buy one of these things and later found out that there are a whole lot of quality control issues with this model bike.
I sold it for a big loss and was glad to be rid of it.
