| I have a 1983 honda cb1000c I have seen a corbin seat for my bike on a 1983 cb1000.Corbin says they dont make a seat pan for this bike.In corbins ad they show a 1983 cb900 seat. Honda did not make a cb900 in 1983. My question is can i get a comfortable seat for my bike? The stock one is uncomfortable.

| The CB900C uses the same seat pan as the CB1000C so the Corbin King/Queen seat for the CB900C will work. Problem is it's ugly.
Best bet would be to send your seat to a custom shop. Tell them you want the original back. That way you can maintain the value on the bike should you decide to re-sell. |

| if you can find someone who has the 900 custom and get them to pull off the seat you can compare the 2. Parts interchange pretty easily between the 2 bikes. I called honda and found out the the mounting brackets are different between the 2 bikes. I couldn't get any info on the seat itself. Possibly modify the mounting brack to get a good fit?
