| I badly need an advice!! Its been almost 10 months since I took the my very first Bike Training Class and been planning to buy my first bike ever. Should I go with the '06 CBR600F4i?? I read its really comfortable but is it safe for a rookie like me?? Comments, advices, or any suggestions (bad or good) will be appreciated!! Thanks in advance guys.

| for your first bike you dont want a super-bike (i say that because thats what it is...its more than a
sports bike). you want to go for like a 250cc bike and i think that they do a CBR/CB250. qa bike this size has alot of torque and high speeds so in my opinion go for a smaller bike plus the insurance would kill ya. |

| The very first bike i bought was a 600 f4i 01' , I'm glad i chose this over 250cc or 300cc or whatever.
as long as your extra careful you'll be alright .If you buy a 250cc you'll get bored and have to go through the hassle of buying and selling , just be careful and you'll have a great time. |

| Hey whats up my name is Ivory and I just bought a 2006 honda CBR 600 f4i when I was on leave, (I am a soldier in the U.S ARMY) I also took a class in the oklahoma, city on my birthday while I was on leave. My point is I have never ever rode a motorcycle befroe but i knew its what I wanted didnt know really why until I rode. Its the thrill, of I cant even explain to you, you would have to buy a CBR 600 f4i and just ride yourself. I took the class and two days later was riding now I recomend you take it slow, but once you learn how to ride you never forget, the class teaches you technique you yourself develop skill. So dont wait any longer. I am 21 yrs old 5"9 and 165pounds, so if you are close in the measurements you will do okay. Always where a helmet and start out in the neighborhood

| I must say I was wondering the same question, However I still have yet to take my class. (Signed up for Oct.) I had the bike delivered yesterday, I now have 43 miles on it. I am a first time rider as well, However I am 31 years old. A little more wise and carefull.. I love this bike and all my concerns have now turned into one big puff of smoke. Buy it, Be carefull, and enjoy.

| the 06 F4i was my first bike and I drove it off the lot before ever even sitting on a street bike and it's been three months and 6,000 miles and I've never layed it down, nor had any problems with it. I recoment it as a beginner bike.

| As long as you respect the bike. don't try to run before you can walk though.

| | Depending on how tall you are and how much you weigh, I would suggest one of the 500cc bikes like a Ninja 500 or a Suzuki GS 500 F. I started on the GS 500 and it was a great bike...Matter a fact I just traded it in today for a 600rr. And anyone who says start out of one of these is retarted, they are just asking to die. So, start on a 500... |
