| Greetings,
I currently have a SuzukiSV650S and a Roadstar1600 for cruising. While I like the Suzuki for what it is, I'd like to get something a bit smoother, more comfortable, and of course, more power....plenty of it. I am caught between the VFR800 and the CBR1100XX(I think that's the correct designation). This would be an everyday bike, and also used for carving up roads on weekends. From what I gather, the VFR may be better for an everyday bike, while the 1100XX would be the better "fun" bike. Which handles better, which is more comfy?

| VFR, of course, handles better.
CBR1100xx is a heavy bike. Both are comfortable. Using CBR -in traffic, for every day commute? -hmmm-depending on how strong and big you are. CBR is faster and more powerful. Doubt that ether bike is as good in traffic as SV650s. Interceptor is rated as a very good all around bike by every possible moto-magazines around. CBR1100 is "Open class" 1000 miles a day rocket. The choice is yours. Try both before deciding. |

| Well the cbr is a nice bike I was contiplating between the two my self. However the vfr was my choice the v-four produces low & high end torqe and the XX is not up to date on its tech. the XX needs refind. five *'s 4-VFR

| hey Ken, I have a sv650s 2003 and my
next bike will be the vfr! I did alot of research and just love the VFR plus
the have that great looking tail end!
The only other bike I would consider would be the RC51. Keep your sv650s and get the vfr and sell the crusier!

| For out and out fun the VFR will eclipse the CBR hands down. If you just want top speed, get the CBR. If you want a sport tourer that handles like an SV650 ( I have both an SV650 and VFR800)get the VFR. After 15 bikes, it is my hands down favorite.

| The vfr is a better balanced bike and lighter. The XX will out run it on the straigts but not in the corners. The vfr has the famous V-four and the WWII fighter plane howl. good luck
