| I'm looking forward to buy a V-ROD. Two things:
1) I'm 5'6", do you guys think I'll do fine?
2) What would be a fair price to pay for that bike today?
Thank u all and have fun!!!

| I just bought one two weeks ago. My wife is 5"6 also and rode it. She said she had to stretch to reach the controls. But, there is a "Forward Design Seat" that reduces 1 inch and Peg Relocators that reduce another inch. That should make it just right.

| I am 5' 3 1/2", it's the only harley that feels comfortable except for the sportster hugger 883, which I almost settled for, till I sat on the V-Rod. I have mid controls on my suzuki and like them - the forwards stock on the V-Rod were a little too far away for me so on the 03 I'm picking up end of August I am having the forward seat and reduced reach foot controls put on, giving me 2", as another poster said they too were doing. I think it's a great bike - I had about given up getting a bigger than Sportster Harley.
