| | Hi, I'm 18 and going into the Marine Corps on July 10th, and after bootcamp I was thinking about purchasing a motorcycle. Now I have never driven a motorcycle before, but if I am going to buy one, I want to get one that is as crazy as I am... so is this a good choice for a newbie? |

| No. Finish bootcamp, take a Motorcycle Safety course, then if you still want to ride, buy a used bike, to gain experience.

| Let's put it this way - you have a much better chance of surviving Marine Corps boot camp than you probably will in 10 minutes with the 'Busa - good luck!

| | No way, you need a lot of riding experience before riding this, I have 30 years and it sometimes scarec me with all that power |

| | go low with a 600......I am a new rider and I had a zuk 600 for 1 week and upgraded to a busa.....and 21 days later I wrecked it. The bad part I was in first gear. The power was to much for my riding skills. Take it slow....I was in the corps and I like living on the edge, but don't take the busa for a easy ride....it is not called the "The Beast of the Street" as a joke. |

| | man dont listen to all these other losers. buy the bike if you want a freaking fast bike. just cus you got the power doesnt meen you dont need it all the time but when you do its there. put it this way if you had a 'vette would you be racing everyone, no, but if you needed to race you would be more than confident in the power. i say get the bike but dont abuse it. |

| | Really fast bikes & crazy people is not a good mixture. If you get this bike, lose the crazyness. Learn safety, think safety or you'll end up in a box! |
