Im looking at a NESS custom Victory. Can someone tell me what the "upgrade" in the transmission is all about? Ive never heard of this on Harley, Honda, Yamaha or kaws? They had occasional failures in 3rd gear and were noisey shifting earning them the name Hammer! 2002 and up have a much improved trans with the 2003 model the most current version. I have an 01 that has not been a problem but that too was an updated trans over the original of the 99-00 models. New ones are not an issue.
