| I'm in the market for a bike and have my heart set on a 2003/2004 Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 Limited. I would like to ride the bike on short trips, long trips (2-3hours) and also pop a willie every now and then. I however recently read a few positive reviews on the 2003 Honda CBR1100XX. Can anyone who has ridden both bikes give me some positive (unbiased) opinions about the two? Thanks much! Brian

| | I've owned an '05 Hayabusa and 2 CBR1100XX's. I sold the Busa. The Busa is equal in comfort to the XX...very similar ergos. But the build quality and smoothness of the XX wins big time over the Busa for me. My Busa had some vibration in the pegs that annoyed me. Others with Busa's report no vibes so go figure. The Busa will eat tires like no tomorrow, stock windscreen not great......just feels cheaper. It's a bit faster but honestly you aint gonna notice until you're going 140 so who cares? The XX does run hotter than the Busa though. But I definitely prefer the XX over the Busa....fast as hell but ultra smooth...and cheaper on tires. |
