| I own this same bike and was wondering if your gas cap makes a noise while venting as mine does. I have the first service this week and I am going to ask the dealer about it. Thanks Zach

| I had a 2005 16oo nomand last summer it made a noise just like my 2006 VN2000 does it's the nature of the beast

| SOLOUTION,,,
OPEN THE CAP AND THEN CLOSE IT AGAIN AND THE NOSIE WILL STOP. THAT IS WHAT I DO WHEN THIS HAPPENS TO MY BIKE.
IT SOUNDS LIKE A VERY FAINT MOANING WHISTLE.
ITS JUST THE GAS PRESSURE RELEASING .
