It seems that you love it or hate it. Can I please get an opinion on why the MEANY rather than the WARRIOR or M109R? The one thing of course is price. How many mods would I have to do to make it run like the other two bikes mentioned? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unless you do drastic changes like increasing the engine's volume or such, it will never run like the bikes you mentioned (including the V-Rod, and the Rocket III, and even the VTX 1800). I added a hypercharger, PowerCommander, replaced the pipes with Cobra, and it's all good and nice (cost me about $1,100 plus installation), but it doesn't make the bike a power cruiser. It's a good bike, don't get me wrong, but if you want low 0-60 numbers you need to look at different bikes.

Go to MrTurbo and look at the system they have for the 1500 vulcan engine. It makes 120 hp to the rear wheel. I don't know if this works on the 1600 motor. But you could by a used 1500 for a song and put this on it while blowing past bikes that cost double.

Looked at these 2 other bikes too. And I would have taken any of the 3, it all came down to the deals I could make. Kawasaki did me better. And I'm very pleased with the MS and don't regret not getting one of the others. It's fast enuff as it is.

I looked at them all several friends have warriors maintaining it is a nightmare plus its not liq cooled. The 109 is very big and bulky poor design for shorter people Im 5'9" and I can hardly touch the ground its to wide and the bars are out there. The meanstreak is well designed and comfortable on long or short runs. Well balanced and handles great. Excelent breaking, its not the fastest bike out there but it will hang with the top runners STOCK. All I have to say to the folks that say its a dog is learn how to ride and dont be afraid to push the limits. In the spring I will be adding pipes power commander and a filter but I do have a speed disease. haha It is very potent stock and you would be happy.
