| Does the road star ever run hot because it is not water cooled?

| I have an '04 Roadstar Siverado with over 8K miles. I have ridden in very hot stop & go traffic and have experienced NO heat problems at all!

| | I have ridden in 105 degree weather with no problems. If it gets any hotter, the heck with the bike, I am going in to drink a cool one... |

| Rush hour traffic on a hot summer day you can feel the power drain. 100 degrees on open roads not a problem.

| When I first bought my 2005 it would overheat in extreme traffic conditions. Once I had the carb adjusted to run a little richer, I no longer had the problem. Seems that if you run too lean it will tend to overheat. Lisa
