| How long before we'll see a bike like the Hammer with a CVT automatic ??? Thank you. J. Penney

| Outside of scooters, I don't think you'll see a CVT on any bike for quite a while. The sound of the motor revving up and down through the gears is part of the magic of motorcycling. Having a bike maintain a constant engine speed as it accelerates just wouldn't be right, and I don't think it would sell well. If you're looking for something automatice, check out the Yamaha FJR1300AE, which has an electronically controlled five speed that shifts for you. No clutch lever at all on the FJR1300AE
