It ranges from 108 to 115 depending on who is doing the dyno. But don't forget this is a light bike and it has no problem doing the 1/4 in about 11.15 seconds right down there in sport bike territory. I have a 2002 and I have no trouble with non liter sports bikes. I really like coming across V-Rods, just a speck in my mirror.

It is claimed to be just over 100 although it feels more like 95 (like anyone can tell!). This bike has more oomph at the lower rpms than bikes with a lot more horsepower at the top end. Makes for easy and controllable riding.

My understanding is that the HP is somewhere in the 100 - 105 range for the 2004 919 and I imagine this is true for the 2006. The biggest thing I have noticed on mine is the consistent torque and power throughout the RPM range.

I have seen listings in sport rider mags list it at 105. If you put in a K&N filter, maybe 107.

According to motorcycle.com dyno: @3.5K- 38hp & 57tq; @4K- 44hp & 58tq; @6K- 72hp & 63tq; @8K- 100hp & 65tq; @9K- 102.7hp & 60tq. As you can see, this thing developes torque down low where most of us use it. Torque peak is somewhere around 7,800 rpm and horsepower peak is around 9,000 rpm. Torque is really how things are measured. Horsepower is just a measurement of torque and time resulting in a certain amount of work being done.

Peak numbers aren't what this bike is about. It has great roll on times that smash any 600 with higher peak numbers. This bike is about low end torque.
