I've started that age old debate, do I buy a Jeep Wrangler this year or do I buy a Victory Vegas Jackpot. I'm leaning with the Jackpot. I will be switching from a 750 Honda Shadow ACE and am wondering how the transition will go, gas milage, and is there a noticable difference in the Stage 1 Kit. Also does anyone know of any great aftermarket accessory sites/forums to keep up to date?

james, boy this sounds familiar! i too started on honda shadow 750 and to keep it simple i will say " Switch now!" with my spirit on a 3.5 gl tank i got 130 miles before reserve but with my jackpot i get 180 on a 4.0 gl tank before my low fuel light comes on. Dont worry about the wide tire it is a myth to an extent. i was worried about it that i was disappointed when i found out that it wasnt really an issue. i am running slashness pipes mapped at the factory. i never rode mine with the stock but i can tell you that the slashness pipes sounds great. i use santarossa vtwin, arlen ness, jp cycles and mbw for aftermarket products.
the victory is an american bike but it does take metric wrenches so keep that in mind also. victory aftermarket stuff is usually located in the backdoor of the metric accesories. hope this helps
