| I am thinkin about buyin a 2001 ninja 500. I took the MSF Class but I am still terrified of riding. Should I get this bike or wait til I feel more confident. I am hopin this bike will teach me to ride confidently.

| I Love my 500 Ninja! I'm short and little and this bike is just my size and it's easy to manuever.

| | You can't get an easier bike to ride than this in my opinion. Well, maybe there are slightly easier bikes to ride but you will outgrow them in 15 minutes |

| If you are "terrified of riding" i would suggest that this might not be the bike for you. You may want to start out with the Ninja 250. The top speed of that bike would be more than enough at around 140 mph, but the handling is a lot less fearfull. Hope this helps out.

| | Hello, I have had my ninja for about 4 months now, it is a little hard to get used to. GIve yourself about a week thoug and it will be the same as riding your petal bike or something. Really Comfortable ride, nice amount of power if your willing to use it. Have FUN |

| | I would go with the 250 if you are terrified to ride. The 500 can be a little intimidating if you're brand new. I was going to get the 250 but had a lot of dirt experience so decided to get the 500 and I love it. I'm 5'3", 118 lbs and it felt pretty heavy for the first month. Good luck! |

| | I'm not an expert or anything, and dont have this bike, but I would say if you are terrified of riding, it may be a little early to be thinking of buying any bike.. I would suggest maybe taking some more motorcycle courses and not investing in a bike until you are comfortable with riding and confident. |
