| I have just purchased a 2003 FXD and am delighted (first motorcycle). The handle bars seem to be a couple inches too far away. Can I adjust this or do I have to buy something or have the dealer make a modification. I would like to not have my arms straight out when sitting back in the seat. Thanks

| Steve:
This one's really easy. There are some allen head screws on the handlebar clamps. Just loosen them a little, pull the bars back where they're comfortable, and tighten the screws.

| I put H-D buck horn bars on and it feels much better now. Handling is not as good, but the reach is much much better. The wiring is a little short, you probably want to use the signal relocation kit.

| I put the Harley pull back risers on my FXD. You can get them at any Harley shop for about $99.00. I would also suggest replacing the stock speedo mount with a Billet flat speedo mount from 50's boy. I put one on my bike and I get tons of complements and is very functional. You could complete the entire setup for about $400 and can be done in about 90 minutes.
