I want to buy a Victory Vegas next month but I have heard that the seat is uncomfortable and the brakes lock up easy. Can you please fill me in on this question. This bike seems great and I really want one. Is it loud enough to get excited about. Thanks Brian...

Brain: I have owned one for 2 months now. NO BRAKE ISSUES!!!! The seat fits my ass, but hey maybe not yours. A custom seat is a small price to pay for a great bike at a great price.

Brian, o break issues here either. My ass fits perfect too. I think they made it just for me. I love my Vegas.
Peace.

I just got one two weeks ago. I love it.... but to answer your question.... the seat is a little weird and Im looking to replace it. Makes you sit to upright. I think the handle bars are too far back for a seat that sits too far forward. Gets a little uncomfortable after about an hour of riding. That being said, I would definatly recommend it.

I've got a vegas with tribal flames and love it ! The seat takes a little to get used to but is fine , I've run 350 miles on it one way and it felt no different than my softail and besides it's not a touring bike . Around town it's a nice ride . The brakes are awesome . Brembo brakes are touchy until your used to them anyway , they give the bike awesome stopping power

The seat is comfortable... 140 miles, fill up, walk around a bit, have a soda, no problem. Repeat until you get where you're going.

The brakes are very good. I've had panic stops on a Vegas, and had no problems. If you hear squealing, let up . Of course, somebody used to H-D brakes will probably find the fact that squeezing the lever/using your right foot actually *does* something an extremely scary experience. Don't grab a Harley handful, grab a Victory handful and you'll be fine. Think of it as going from driving a delivery truck (H-D) to a Mini Cooper S...

the seat only seems to be uncomfortable for really overweight riders. As for the brakes locking up easy... no way, they're fine.
