| I was looking at one today and I asked the dealer how much horsepower on the Vulcan 1600 and he told me 68 HP. For some reason I thought it would be higher. How is the vibrations at highway speeds,as I am thinking of moving into one and selling my 2004 1100 V-Star Yamaha?

| I don’t know what the Hp is but it is extremely adequate. As for vibration this machine is smooth and comfortable at highway speeds. I purchased mine in Lancaster Tx at a base price of 8999.00. This was the best price in the Dallas Ft Worth Area.

| The HP is 68 but the tourqe is around 105 lb/ft. My Dad has an '04 VStar 1100 silverado. The power for both, I think, is adequate but the Vulcan does have more. If I were you I would look at the riding position. Completely different from the VStar. The VStar pushes me forward a bit/makes me sit more erect which then in turn I slouch (hard on the lower back)(5'11 195lbs). The Vulcan, for me, is way more comfortable. You can easily feel the difference when you just sit on each.

| | 73 HP and 92 Torque - not sure if those are rear wheel numbers. |
