| I was Thinking of buying the Monster 620 dark as my first bike, but i was wondering can you put a second rider on it or not. Also is the Ducati Monster 620 dark a good choice for a first bike.

| I bought an 02 620 Dark and was very pleased with it. You can ride passengers fairly comfortably with little loss in power. I felt the power and handling were sufficient as I was able to keep up with a GSXR750, Buell X1, and a Ducati 748; a GSXR 600 fell behind. This was on a curvy road. Top speed is limited to around 114-120 mph, but overall, this is a very good learning bike and a bike you can depend on for years to come.
