| Real simple question:
2003 Z1000
2003 Ducati Monster 1000s
2003 Buell Firebolt XB9R
Which one is best?
I'm 5'11 & 250lbs

| There's no direct and straight-forward answer to that question. I think the Z1000 probably requires the least amount of maintenance; it's still a Kawasaki. The Firebolt is an American bike, but it's handling is said to be very touchy. I, of course, am partial to the Ducati since I own one. My bike has been very reliable, handles very precisely exactly when I tell it to, and draws a lot of attention. Hey, it's a Ducati! I'm sure the Z1000 is faster, but the Ducati has character that the other two just can't match--my opinion. As for size and weight, any of the bikes would suit you about the same. At 250 lbs, though, you might want to consider a sport touring bike like the Hayabusa.
