| i am having carb problems, engine will rev ok up to red line, but when you ride it, starts poping and cutting out at 5 grand, cleaned carbrs, went from 105 to160 on main jets, runs a little better but still pops and cuts out, have repaced main jets to even larger, but still same problem, even reset float levels thinking it was running out of gas, no change,plugs show a light gray, could this be ign system starting to fail< and if so how do i check for this,,, butch

| | You need to join the XJ Owners group at xjowners.com and ask these questions there. There is a fantastic amount of knowledge from some of the most helpfull people i have ever "met". They will also tell you where to buy an XJCD which has manuals for all of the XJs along with tips, tricks and directions for fixing everything on the bike. I really can not recommend this highly enough. Good luck. |
