| I am a converted Harley rider every since i got my Kawasaki Z1000 and now i am looking to get a ST1300 for touring.I have heard different thoughts about ABS mostly from dealers saying i would not like it but i think it is only becuse they want to get rid of the non ABS.I test rode an ABS ST1300 and it felt to me like a non ABS.Living in California my main reason for having ABS is for the dreaded panick stop and not rain or snow.I think this alone is a good reason.Your thoughts or experiences would be helpfull.

| Get an ABS. Nobody can modulate braking in a panic. All the police departments move from Harley because of non-ABS and now they are moving back because Harley has ABS.
