| what do you recomend doing to this bike for more horse power and what is the true hp/torque. and can it beat a stock r6

| | add a jet kit to get the power. Not sure of the true hp or torque but the R6 will smoke this it. THe Rc51 may have more cc's but the R6 is a real racer. |

| Power Commander, exhaust, and leave the stock air filters (just cut away the wire surrounding them. You can get more idea's about torque and power from the RC51 god of websites (http://www.rc51.org). As for a R6 - you are comparing apples to oranges - literally. The RC51 is a true superbike; its history on the track says so! The R6 is a good bike (except for the fact its a Yamaha). You also need to ask yourself, "What are you using the bike for?" As for me, I am an avid mountain rider; going to places like Deals Gap, Cherohala Skyway, etc... The V-twin gives you that torque you want and need, where in a inline 4 (especially a 600cc) you are revving some high rpm's to get not even close to what the v-twin delivers. So, my recommendation is to ask yourself what you are using the bike for - then decide from there.

| I don't see how you add a 'jet' kit - there are no Jets! 1st: I don't see y u need to do anything to beat the R6; a good SP1 will do it. Ok, so it's quick off the line, but roads are not runways. One good turn on a RC, deserves another.
