| I am about to buy my first bike (leaning towards a 2005 Kingpin Deluxe) and have one major concern. I keep reading about insufficient ground clearance and chasis drag. Being 6'5" and heavy on the scales is this an issue that should have me reconsidering my choice? Are there ways that I can address (minimize) this issue? Thanks for any and all advice.

| I only 5' 6" but I weight in at 180 lbs. I have the bike set at it's lowest setting and the only problem I have is with the actual dynamics of the bike - it is not a sports bike so it will drag "early". That being said, as a Motorcycle Instructor I think you might want to consider a slightly less powerful bike for your first bike (and cheaper because you will drop it). Just get a kick-around bike for 3-4 months then get the Kingpin (great bike).

| Not a problem with dragging, sharp corners with a big lean may cause a little scraping, just went 5100 miles with a buddy on a HD ultra classic and he scraped 100 times more than the kingpin and i lean farther than the chicken.,
