I purchased a ZZr600 as my first street bike 3 months ago. I love it but am looking for something more aggresive. I love the 749 and ss800's. Would this be a good choice for me?I can't decide between the 2. I want something not everyone else has.

The ZZr600 is comparable to the 800ss in power/speed and is more comfortable than booth the Duc's, but in qualitie of components(steel braided brake lines, brembo brakes, hydra clutch)and handling the Kawa is far behein! You have to access te Duc's strenghs and weaknesses according to how you are going to use the bike mostly for. The 749 is more powerfull, and it has a more agressive/nervous engine/ridding position, it requires more clutch work and rpm in city ridding, less comfortable for a passanger also. Its also more complex 4valve motor and expensive to maintain and quite a bite more expensive to buy. The 800ss is more conservative in design with its 2 valve per cilinder engine, its more docile to ride, cheaper and easier to maintain, it has a torquier motor and is lighter than the 749 but its not as fast. Booth are very exclusive and just awesome bikes!Great attention getters! The handling of those two to me is equal, but 749 owners believe the newer model is more acurate on the curves. The sound of the 749 is nicer to me, my opinion do! The 749 has more aftermarket parts too! The 800ss has very limited aftermarket parts. I own the 800ss and would not trade it for the 749 mostly because of its looks, but thats me! If money is no subject and you want the "latest best thing" go with the 749, either one won't dissapoint you!
The 800ss is more exclusive believe it or not, there are more 749 out there than the 800ss, the SS did not sell as good as the earlier SS body style did. Go figure why?
Either will take a while to adjust to the ridding position!

If you're looking for exclusivity, check out the '06 Triumph Daytona 675. Faster than both the ZZR and SS800, and nobody, and i mean NOBODY has one yet (Not available in the states till December). www.triumph.co.uk/usa
