| I am looking at bikes, and this would be my first one. which one should i buy? i am also kinda worried that a 600 would be too small b.c i am 6'4 and 220 lbs.

| | A 600 would NOT be too small. Dimensionally, they are about the same as liter bikes. And for a first bike, there is no way in hell you should be riding anything with more than 600cc. Don't put your life in danger just to be cool. |

| I think that is the general misconseption with bigger riders. I would agree with the other answer that a litre bike would be a little too much for a beginner. I would definately go with a smaller and cheaper bike and purchase all the necessary gear. Then when you feel ready to move up, move up. But I assure you if you buy something like a 600rr, you won't be disappointed.

| Don't worry about it...just because the engine is bigger doesn't mean u have to use it all. There really isnt any difference between a 600 and a 954, only on top end. I am 6'2" 190 lbs and I love my 954 and u only have to use what u want. I personally like the feel on the 954 over a 600 its a lil bigger and longer!
