| I got my '03 pre-owned Duc as my first bike and I've been having problems with controlling a smooth release out of first gear. The clutch catches on at a very high point-almost to complete release before the bike starts moving, so I REALLY have to rev the thorttle hard for the bike not to stall-this has already caused 3 different crashes coming out of a red light going into a left turn..my question is, is the clutch lever adjustable for the 03 620 model? I love the bike so much that I'm riding even with a fractured knee and ankle!!

| | First piect of advice is don't hurt yourself! Second there might be some fine-adjustment screws atatched to the clutch lever, that might help. If you're not sure go to a mechanic. Third practice finding the friction zone in a parking lot. Leave the bike in idle, and let off the clutch very slowly until it begins to move. Fourth don't rev the bike up like that! Fifth, take an MSF course. |
