| I am considering a great deal on a 2000 Falco with 22000 mi on the clock. Can anybody advise on reliablilty and startablilty in cold weather? I use a bike through a British winter so need it to warm up quickly in the mornings!

| I am a Swiss-based Falco owner and it's fine - provided you monitor and regularly look after the battery. It's more of a sporster than a tourer, and its power requires careful handling on slippery surfaces. Otherwise it's a very reliable bike that never let me down. I am very happy with it.

| | I live in South Dakota where winters can be brutal. Though I rarley rode my 2001 Falco during the winter months, I would frequently start it in the garage and assure battery was up to par and so forth. Never once ever had any problem with bike starting right away! Tis one awesome machine overall and I cant imagine anyone not appreciating a bike of this caliber. Good luck! |
